Life is a series of experiences, a journey, a group of stories to tell, and an adventure. Life is art. Art is life.
Beginning with pencil and crayons my art began at an early age before I knew what art was. Now, after retiring from many careers over the past half century, my art has become a method of expressing life and nature, good and bad. Common to all of us, but perhaps unseen by many.
Each blank canvas begins with a personal experience or story that I hope the viewer will be able to see. The aspiration for each of my paintings, fused by the details of realism and the emotions solicited by impressionistic concepts, is to draw the viewer inward and spark feelings and emotions to find the painting’s story within themselves.
