Angelica Salazar was born and raised in Taylor, Texas. After a five year hiatus in Austin, Texas she moved back to her hometown to raise her family. Now with two grown children she is entering a new era of life and pursuing her passion for creating imaginative art.
“I have always been a creative person but it wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I relied on my creative outlet to get me out of my darkest days of my life. Entering recovery I found a new love of coloring with permanent markers. In years to come it turned into acrylic pour art on canvass which has turned into mix media art.
“Living a Life of Color” signifies living a colorful life. Being uncontainable in the best ways imaginable. I’m ready to share my world with this world in hopes that it sparks a light of love, creativity, and imagination to all who see.”
So in the words of Willy Wonka,
“Hold your breath, make a wish, count to three.
Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination.
Take a look and you’ll see into your imagination.
We’ll begin with a spin, traveling in a world of my creation.
What we see will defy explanation.
There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination.
Living there, you’ll be free. If you truly wish to be.”
